Landmannalaugar Adventure

We ride through multi-colored landscapes with its yellow, reddish and greenish rhyolite mountains, the towering glaciers and extensive lava fields give the area a magical touch. We will ride to the fascinating area of Landmannalaugar where we will enjoy a refreshing bath in its natural hot springs.

Kirkjufell Adventure

On this new riding tour we introduce you to the Northern part of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, home to hidden waterfalls, mystical folklore and small fishing towns.  Our ride leads along colorful volcanoes and takes you through the haunting 4000 year old Berserk lava field that consists of variable shaped lava rocks, and that is also where a part of the well known Eyrbyggja saga happened.⁣ ⁣ On our journey we ride around Mt Kirkjufell, considered as being the most beautiful mountain on the Snæfellsnes peninsula and yet most recognized as being “ArrowHead Mountain '' on the TV series, Game of Thrones.⁣

Löngufjörur Beach Ride

Experience the legendary beauty and dramatic landscapes of Snæfellsnes Peninsula, where the Snæfellsjökull volcano dominates over its national park. You get the chance to experience the smooth gait tölt over long distances on wide-open, light-colored sand at Löngufjörur beach, where only the tide sets a boundary to the freedom of horse and man.

We ride into the gorgeous Heiðmörk nature park with fellow travelers from the Viking Tour and our trained guides.

Magical Snæfellsnes

Snæfellsnes the Magical and Mysterious! Riding through lava fields and along hillsides and down to the shore where we’ll be welcomed by the wide-open stretches of light-colored sand at Löngufjörur beach.  The smooth sand offers unforgettable riding and a great opportunity to experience the unique gait tölt over long distances.

Thorsmörk and Beyond

We present here a truly wonderful tour into the fascinating Thorsmörk Nature Reserve. The Thorsmork area is a hiker´s paradise. Riding in this wonderland of nature is pure joy. On our way to Thorsmork, we are reminded of the major volcanic eruptions that occurred in 2010 causing massive disruption to international air traffic. We ride past one of the lava streams that flowed from the mighty glacier-capped volcano with the unpronounceable name, Eyjafjallajökull.
